The KillersThe Killers think that America is "musically retarded."

The Runaways band are glad they were recognized as stars in the UK before getting big in their home country, because they don't like the pop songs played on US radio. "Breaking in the UK first was great because America is retarded musically. It's upside down. There's so much great music that doesn't get the attention. There's a lot of bull***t on US radio," they said. Singer Brandon Flowers added, "I start to wonder, what do adults listen to? Do they listen to what's being played on the radio? You should listen to something that's for you -- not about giving your virginity to your boyfriend on Saturday night. It is retarded. Every song is that song. And if 40-year-olds are listening to that rubbish, they're going to raise kids on it. It's not even music."

The band have now sold over 22 million albums, and are releasing a greatest hits record, but vow to continue after some time off. "We'll have a little break then I'll make another solo album, but it's not the end for us," Brandon, 32, added.

Marvin Gaye's son and Robin ThickeRobin Thicke is being sued for copyright infringement over his hit song "Blurred Lines."

Marvin Gaye's children have filed legal papers accusing the singer and Pharrell Williams, who features on the track, of copying elements of the song "Got To Give It Up," according to The Hollywood Reporter. They are seeking damages and a portion of the profits from the song, which has been one of the biggest hits of 2013.

The lawsuit is in response to a claim brought in August by Robin and Pharrell, asking a court to rule their song did not infringe Marvin's copyright. In their legal papers - also filed on behalf of fellow collaborator T.I. (Clifford Harris, Jr.) - the trio insisted there were no similarities between the two songs "other than commonplace musical elements."

The Jonas BrothersThe Jonas Brothers won't release their fifth album.

The trio - brothers Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas - announced yesterday that they are to go their separate ways, and now they have confirmed the proposed record won't see the light of day, though they will bring out a small number of tracks "for the fans."

"The album will actually not be completed, but we will be doing something for our fans. They have traveled with us and been with us for so many years that we did not want to just leave without giving them back something. So what we're going to do is, we're going to release four unreleased songs from the album. The rest of the album will be never released," Kevin said.

Nick admitted the decision to separate came after he "initiated" a discussion about their future and says it triggered a "tough" conversation. "In a nutshell, I said, 'Look, I feel like we've had some complications within the group for a long time without addressing them. I think this train will fall off the tracks without really getting real about some of the concerns and some of the limitations that we may feel as individuals in the group.' It was a tough conversation... It was the first time we really had that real conversation. It was a few days of working through it," he said on Good Morning America.

Justin Bieber, Metallica

The members of Metallica are Justin Bieber fans.

The "Sad But True" heavy metal legends are impressed by 19-year-old teen heartthrob Justin Bieber - whose fans are affectionately referred to as Beliebers - after he said their tracks "One" and "Fade to Black" are his "jams." Speaking to Q Magazine, singer James Hetfield said, "Are we Beliebers? Yes."

Drummer Lars Ulrich added, "Is it possible to have respect for him without being a Belieber? I think the kid's really talented and obviously to go through what he's going through at that early age must be a mind***k. So the fact that he still goes out there and does it, I admire that and I think he's super talented, so I guess I am kind of a Belieber. If he likes 'One,' and Liam Gallagher likes him, OK, there you go."

In the spirit of Halloween, Britney Spears teamed up with British TV personality Nick Grimshaw to put out the above video, "It's Britney Witch!" (in case you've forgotten about her colorful lyrics, the title is a play on the first line from her "Gimme More" song).

Short and sweet, the pop star recites the opening lines from Michael Jackson's legendary "Thriller" video in a faux-British accent while propped against various "spooky" green screen backdrops. Although it's quite silly, it's great to see Britney enjoying herself (I mean, have you seen any of her interviews over the past few years?) and not feeling obligated to be sexy.
